I love off-road bikes of this era, I love to see them, chat to fellow enthusiasts and stock up on parts and tools to assist my own projects.
I enjoy meeting friends and stars of the show.
It’s the best place to see the machines and people all in one place, and to pick up a few bits, and have a chat with like-minded people.
I enjoy the exhibits, the atmosphere, meeting friends.
The bike show of classic bikes showed some very well-prepared machines.
Meeting Alf Hagon, and the displays of the Hagon bikes, including the sprinter. Why? It showed what a massive influence he has on all aspects of being a successful competitor in different bike disciplines, a top bike constructor and highly successful businessman/manufacturer in the shock business. He is an inspiration to many of us, but especially to the younger generation.
Different stands to those at sports bike shows – more interesting and varied.
Specialised stands. Nice not to have to deal on the internet.
Meeting friends you rarely see in day-to-day life.
Do the same again next year. I will try to do both days next year – too much to do the show justice in one day.
Great show and hard to improve.
