I love off-road bikes of this era, I love to see them, chat to fellow enthusiasts and stock up on parts and tools to assist my own projects.

I enjoy meeting friends and stars of the show.

It’s the best place to see the machines and people all in one place, and to pick up a few bits, and have a chat with like-minded people.

I enjoy the exhibits, the atmosphere, meeting friends.

The bike show of classic bikes showed some very well-prepared machines.

Meeting Alf Hagon, and the displays of the Hagon bikes, including the sprinter. Why? It showed what a massive influence he has on all aspects of being a successful competitor in different bike disciplines, a top bike constructor and highly successful businessman/manufacturer in the shock business. He is an inspiration to many of us, but especially to the younger generation.

Different stands to those at sports bike shows – more interesting and varied.

Specialised stands. Nice not to have to deal on the internet.

Meeting friends you rarely see in day-to-day life.

Do the same again next year. I will try to do both days next year – too much to do the show justice in one day.

Great show and hard to improve.
